Hubei meicang wool textile co. is a joint-venture company established by KURABO INDUSTRIES LTD. & Garment Industrial group, China. In July 2006, the company was restructured, and the registered capital is 10 million US dollars.
With total assets of 160 million RMB yuan, the company has a factory area of 59,000 sq. meters, and more than 600 employees and boasts 6,400 combing spindles as well as 36 rapier looms. We are mainly engaged in the manufacture of high quality fabrics for suits and fashion garments, from design, dyeing, spinning, weaving to finishing. The company is capable of the annual production of 2.4 million meters of high-quality worsted woollen piece goods and 250,000 pairs of trousers.
We have introduced into the company advanced equipments, including preparatory machines from Italy, modern automatic winders from Japan, advanced finishing equipments from Germany and Japan, which feature high automatization and world-advanced performances
The company passed the certification of IS09001 Q.C. system in 1997, and ISO14001 Environment System in 2004. More than 70% of our staff members are sent to Japan for a one year's training.
Over 70% of our products are exported to Japan, and some to Europe and the US, others are sold in China.
